Subjects and required stages
Paper I: General Hindi
Vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, correct usage and comprehension at the notified standard.
Paper I: General English
Vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms/antonyms, correct usage and comprehension.
Paper II: Translation
Hindi-to-English and English-to-Hindi translation.
Paper II: Essay
Essay writing in Hindi and English under the notified descriptive scheme.
Selection route: Paper I CBE → Paper II descriptive → document verification/appointment checks.
Build a study map
- Copy the exact headings from the controlling notice.
- Break each heading into measurable subtopics and take a baseline test.
- Use the current question count, timing and penalty in timed work.
- Review every wrong and guessed answer before the next mock.
