SSC CGL 2026 Tier 1 Exam Date and Admit Card Update
Tier I is tentatively scheduled for August–September 2026. The specific exam date, city information and admit-card release date must be confirmed through SSC’s official channels.
The confirmed official position: the CGL 2026 notice lists Tier I for August–September 2026 and Tier II for December 2026. It does not announce one fixed Tier I date or a specific admit-card release date.
What the official SSC notice confirms
The Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2026 notice was issued on 21 May 2026. It originally accepted applications through 22 June 2026.
SSC later reopened the application window for two days, from 23 June at 11:00 pm to 25 June at 11:00 pm. The reopening notice said more than 28 lakh candidates had already applied.
The notice gives a tentative August–September 2026 window for Tier I and December 2026 for Tier II. These are windows, not a candidate-specific appointment.
Is the SSC CGL 2026 admit card released?
The official examination notice does not specify a single admit-card release date. Candidates should not treat an unofficial countdown or social-media post as confirmation.
Check ssc.gov.in, the candidate login and the relevant official SSC regional channel for city details, admission certificate instructions or a schedule update. Use the registration details created during application.
What candidates should do now
Keep the submitted application, registration number and an accepted photo ID ready.
Continue preparation for an August–September Tier I window unless SSC issues a revised schedule.
Read every new notice or corrigendum fully. A date in a later official notice overrides the tentative date in the original examination notice.
