SSC Exams After Graduation: CGL, CPO, JHT and Selection Post Guide
Compare graduate-level general, uniformed, language-specialist and department-specific SSC recruitment routes.
Start with your completed qualification
Graduates should compare CGL, CPO and Graduate-level Selection Posts first. JHT is a specialist route with prescribed postgraduate language qualifications, while JE belongs in the technical route. A degree alone does not satisfy every post condition.
SSC CGL
Broad graduate-level route to assistant, inspector, audit/accounts and other posts. →
SSC CPO
Sub-Inspector route with written, physical and medical stages. →
SSC JHT
Translator route requiring exact postgraduate language/translation credentials. →
SSC Selection Post · Graduate level
Department-specific graduate vacancies with post-category conditions. →

Frequently asked questions
Can I apply before my qualifying result is declared?
Only if the current notice allows it and you can prove the required qualification by its stated cut-off date. Read that clause exactly.
Can I apply for more than one SSC examination?
Usually yes when you meet each notice’s eligibility and submit each required application, but every notice remains independent.
Where do I confirm age relaxation?
Use the current official notification and the valid certificate rules for your category. Do not rely only on a general age table.
