Subjects and required stages
General Intelligence & Reasoning
Verbal/non-verbal reasoning, analogies, classification, series, spatial and problem-solving areas.
General Awareness
Current events and India/world awareness appropriate to the notified examination.
English Language & Comprehension
Vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms/antonyms and comprehension.
Skill Test
Dictation and transcription at the Grade C/Grade D rates and time limits stated in the notice.
Selection route: CBE → qualifying Stenography Skill Test → document verification/departmental checks.
Build a study map
- Copy the exact headings from the controlling notice.
- Break each heading into measurable subtopics and take a baseline test.
- Use the current question count, timing and penalty in timed work.
- Review every wrong and guessed answer before the next mock.
- Prepare the skill, technical, physical or post-specific stage from the beginning.
